A Brooklyn Ride to Cultivation Education
A Coney Island bound ride off the B or Q Train and you’ll find yourself at KushMart, a local dispensary and the home to Brooklyn’s first We Grow NYC workshop!
This event, which was focused on home cultivation and plant care, was an exciting opportunity for Brooklyn residents and neighboring communities to come together, learn, and grow.
Connecting Growers & Understanding NYC’s Home Grow Laws
The workshop opened with participants sharing their levels of understanding, bringing together novice growers, beginners, experienced cultivators, and legacy operators in a dynamic discussion.
NYC was gifted with incredible weather that day, and attendees eagerly jumped into conversations about home cultivation, exchanging their growing journeys. This set the stage for an engaging and informative session.
In New York State, residents may legally grow up to six cannabis plants—three in the vegetative stage and three in the flowering stage—per person, with a maximum of 12 plants per household (six vegetative and six flowering).
We Grow NYC is dedicated to supporting these growers by providing the knowledge and resources needed to cultivate successfully.
The energy in KushMart was electric as the legal dispensary filled with discussion, setting the perfect tone for the presentations that followed.
